1. Could you get my breakfast for me?
Yes, and any other meal.
2. Do you do shopping?
Yes, as well as collection of pensions and prescriptions
3. Will my privacy be respected?
Yes, we adhere to the Data Protection Act and we treat our patients with the utmost dignity and respect.
4. Will the carers call me by my Christian name?
No, not unless you request them to do so.
5. How will my needs be assessed?
An initial assment is carried out, either by Mrs. Harriet Holder, or by our Operations Manager, Louise Stokley
Needs are updated as and when necessary
6. Who will pay for my care?
Either, Social Services or the Local Health Authority, or in the case of a private patient, yourself.
7. Are your staff police checked?
Yes, they are all checked by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and are cleared to work as carers.
Quality
We are determined to maintain the highest standards of personal care. All our staff are given regular training updates in personal care procedures, first aid and manual handling techniques.
